Trained at Jacques Le Coq ecole de theatre, mime, mouvement, Paris, France, grant recipient with the Canada Council and Ontario Arts Council, Lisa Du Fresne has been with the OAC Creative Artists in the Schools Program since 1980. Over the years, she co-founded IMAGO mask theatre (full body mask in fibre art); was principal performer for Theatre Beyond Words (Swiss larva mask); director and playwright of Theatre Lisa Du Fresne and artistic director of La Troupe Ensemble Theatre School (Guelph). She has directed major outdoor parades of Body Masks / Giant Puppets (recyclable materials) in Ontario towns and created unique Puppet Museums in numerous school milieux.
